Any Individual, centre or group that wants to participate in the TRANSBIG project can become an Associate Member (AM) after approval by the TRANSBIG Steering Committee. The AM is a full member of the TRANSBIG Steering Committee, he/she participates in Committee’s meetings and teleconferences and he/she is allowed to vote on any issues requiring a vote. The AM can also be invited to participate in other committees or to work on ad-hoc projects. The AM status involves the protection of the AM’s Pre-Existing Know How and acquisition of Intellectual Property Rights on knowledge arising from the TRANSBIG project. The AM is not bound to the European Commission contract and is not financially supported.
