Working on behalf of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly to move BIG's research agenda forward is the group's Headquarter, located at the Jules Bordet Institute in Brussels, Belgium.
This office is responsible for all daily business, including communicating with member groups, following the activities of proposed and actual BIG trials, managing the development of new research programmes, coordinating task forces, publishing a newsletter on a bi-annual basis, organising all meetings and events, and coordinating various other activities related to general administration, membership and fundraising. It is also responsible for managing the TRANSBIG network.
